Problems in Pragyan Du Sol Internal Assessment 2/4 Semester

Pragyan Du Sol Internal Assessment: Internal assessments for the 2nd and 4th semesters are currently going on. These internal assessments started on 4 May and will end on 18 May. In this article, we are going to discuss the problems faced by students in Pragyan Portal.

The LMS portal which is now known as the Pragyan Portal is the place where internal assessment happens. Internal assessments happened for the first time in the previous year with a lot of problems faced by students in the Pragyan Portal.

Students were expecting that this year, there would be no or fewer problems. But, unfortunately, students are facing more problems this year while giving their internal assessments than the previous year.

What are the Problems and their Solution?

There are many types of problems faced by students ranging from login problems to internal assessments automatically getting submitted. Here is the list of problems in detail and their solutions:

1) Login Problem

30% of students are not able to give their internal assessments due to this problem. To get their Login ID and password, students are using the method of ‘Forget Password’, but still it showing invalid.

Even after logging in, some students are not able to see their subjects and give their internal assessments. In some cases, the wrong subjects are shown instead of showing the chosen subject of EVS, the portal is showing Economics.

For this problem, Du Sol has provided their helpdesk email and complaint numbers. You can either email them your problem at undergraduate1@col.du.ac.in or call them at 9318355332/9318355249/9318355024.

Apart from contacting them, you can also try again to exercise the ‘Forget Password’ option to log in to the Pragyan Portal. If it is still not working then it is best to visit Sol North Campus.

2) Internal Assessment Questions are Wrong

After the login problem, the second biggest problem is that the options of questions in the internal assessment are wrong.

Now, the main problem for students is that if a student attempts the question or leaves the question, in both cases his/her answer would be wrong.

Solution For This Problem

There is no response from Du Sol regarding this problem. So, it’s best to keep a piece of evidence that you are facing this problem.

You can either take screenshots of wrong questions or do screen recording while attempting your internal assessment. In case something wrong happens from the portal side, you will be able to show proof.

Remember that you are not the only student who is facing this problem. This is an error from the Pragyan Portal side and they will be responsible for all the problems faced by the students.

3) Attempt Automatically Submitted

In this problem, when a student accesses the portal to give the assessment their internal assessment automatically gets submitted whenever they click on launch.

Due to this problem, many students are afraid of giving the second attempt as the first attempt is automatically submitted. This simply means there is an error from the Pragya Portal end.

Solution For This Problem

The best solution for this problem is to take evidence of it by way of recording or screenshots. You can call or email them these proofs. If you live near the Du Sol North Campus, you can also visit there and show these proofs to the officials.

Many students are also calling the complaint numbers but it’s switched off or unreachable. This may be because many students are calling for their details. The best you can do is to keep evidence and show it to Du Sol North Campus.
