How to Update Aadhar Number in DU SOL?
You have to follow the given below steps to update your Aadhar number in DU SOL:
- First, visit the DU SOL official website: web.sol.du.ac.in
- After coming to the home page of the website, click on the student’s dashboard as shown below:
- Then, you will have to fill in your ‘SOL Roll Number’ and ‘Bar Code/Control Number’ as printed on your ID card or fee slip.
Remember, if you have been admitted to DU SOL before 2023, you must have received a bar code and those who got admitted in 2023 must have got a control number.
Therefore, in case of admission before 2023, you have to fill out your Bar Code and in case of admission in 2023, you have to fill in your control number. - Remember to put S after writing your full control number.
- After logging in, you will see an option named ‘Add Aadhar number for ABC ID’. You need to click on this option.
- Now, you have to fill in your Aadhar card number, the name on your Aadhar card, and your mobile number which is linked to your Aadhar card number.
- Upload your Aadhar card photo and remember to upload it in a JPG file and the size must be under 10 MB.
- Fill in the captcha and save the details.
After doing all these steps your Aadhar number will be updated and DU will create your ABC ID. In case, your mobile number is not linked with your Aadhar card, you can link it from the nearest Aadhar center and then update your Aadhar card number.
If you cannot link your mobile number with your Aadhar card now then you can fill in the mobile number with which you will link your Aadhar card in the future.

If you do not update your Aadhar Card number, you will not receive an admit card. Without an admit card, you cannot sit for the examination.
ABC (Academic Bank Credit) ID is a yojana of the central government that needs to be maintained by every student. This will benefit you by making a single place where your all data can be stored and accessed.
You can also make this ABC ID through Digilocker if your Aadhar number is linked with it. The last date to update your Aadhar number with DU SOL is 10 May 2024.
