There are mainly 7 documents required for SOL admission 2024, some of which are not mandatory. The list of these documents is as follows:
10th and 12th Class Marksheet
You must have a 10th and 12th class mark sheet if you want to get admission to SOL 2024. The marksheet of 10th & 12th can be of any board. There is no compulsion to be on the CBSE Board only.
Class 12th Provisional Certificate
A provisional certificate is a temporary certificate that indicates that a student has passed the class. It is used until the Board issues the original certificate. This document must also be uploaded to get admission to DU SOL.
ID Proof
You must upload your ID Proof. It can be your Aadhar Card, Voter ID Card, PAN card, Driving Licence, etc. This document also provides proof of your residence as your address is mentioned in each of the above documents.
Caste Certificate
It is an optional yet very beneficial certificate to have. If you want a reservation form caste certificate to reduce the fee amount, then you need to submit a caste certificate.
In the DU SOL application form, you will have to select whether you belong to the General category or from the SC/ST/OBC/EWS category. If you have a caste certificate for any of these categories except the general category, you have to select that option and attach your caste certificate with the application form.
If you belong to the general category, no certificate needs to be attached as proof.
How To Get Admission in SOL DU 2024?
Income Certificate
The income certificate is also optional. Some years ago, the income certificate was not required for admission to SOL DU, but as EWS Quota was introduced, it was asked for students to show their income certificate as their income proof.
While filling out the admission form for SOL DU, you will have to answer the income details of your family. If you wrote that your family income is below the poverty line then you have to attach your income certificate as proof.
If you are from a middle-class or upper-class family, then you don’t need to show your income certificate.
One benefit of an income certificate is that you can get scholarships for below-poverty-line students by showing it in the future.
Passport
Passport is for only Non-Residents of India (NRI). If you select the option of NRI in your admission form, then you have to attach your passport to show it as Proof.

Once you have posted all these documents, then you have to upload your signature photo on a black sheet with a blue/black pen. In addition to that, you also have to upload your image.
Remember to do it smartly as there are kb limits under which the photo can be uploaded and in a certain format. Use Google websites to reduce the kb of the image and change the format of the image.
