For students, money is like a ticket to the world. As a student, you have age to explore, and health to enjoy, but only money is not there. So, in this article, I will discuss 3 practical ways to earn money as a student in India.

1) Tuitions

You can not underestimate this way of earning money as a student in India. If you get 3-4 home tuitions, you may earn more than what you are expecting from a good job.

Now, let’s talk about how to get started. First of all, understand that no one is going to give you tuitions that pay high money as you are just a school or college student.

The easiest way is to start teaching 1-5 class students at your home or somewhere there is space and peace. You will easily earn like 3-4 thousand if you gather 8-10 students and believe me you will see good growth in numbers if you teach 1-5 class students even if you teach badly.

The most profitable is home tuition. They pay high i.e. they pay you on an hourly basis. For example: Currently, I teach a student Economics and charge Rs. 600/per hour. You can now imagine how profitable home tuition could be.

How to get students for Home Tuition?

This is the main question where everyone is stuck, as you can imagine why a parent would select a school or college student to teach their child when they are paying high fees.

So, as a student, you can only get home tuition based on two things. First is your contacts and second is online websites like teacheron or preppy.

Aim high and get in touch with someone who gives home tuition, it will broaden your mind and you will start to see possibilities.

At one point I was 18 years old and I was teaching BST to a student of class 12 who was I think 18 or older than me, but he didn’t know that. His parents were giving me 400 per hour. I got that home tuition from a contacts I built.

Many people confuse blogging with vlogging. They are different as vlogging is shooting a video where you are showing your life. On the other hand, blogging is making a website where you publish content and earn money.

The website on which you are reading this article is what blogging is. I do it part-time and currently, I make around 1500 Rupees monthly from it.

This is a hobby thing. If you are good at writing, on computers you should do it as a hobby. When you start to see results, do it as a business.

3) Content Writing/Video Editing

Content writing and video editing are those things that you can simply learn in 2 to 3 days. I am talking about the basics and after learning them you can apply for part-time jobs related to this.

You can see many people hiring video editors on YouTube or platforms like Fiver. So, if you learn this you can make a good earning as a student.

The interesting thing is that no one looks at who you are in this thing. The only thing that matters is how good you are in content writing or video editing. Based on your skills, you will get money.
