Admission/Registration Process
Many students have doubts about whether admission will happen before the exam or after the exam. Now, remember that admission will happen only after the result.
After one week of results, paper selection will be started. It is done because you have to pay fees to get registered in the next year and if you get back in one or more papers, it will lead to a change in fees.
But one thing you have to remember is that under national education policy, you will only get admission in the next year if you have passed at least 50% of subjects in the last two semesters.
For example, if you are in 2nd semester, you must be passed in at least 7 subjects out of 14 subjects (including subjects of both 1st and 2nd semester). If you are passed in only 6 subjects, you will be considered failed and you have to repeat that year.
Classes
In DU SOL, your classes start even before your admission. This will happen because of discipline subjects which are mandatory to study. Once, classes will start, SOL will inform you about it.
So, to conclude classes will start even before admission. After the result, the admission will start to happen. The expected date of admission will be in September or October for the 3rd and 5th semesters.

Internal Assessment
Internal assessment will happen this year and it will happen before the exams. Your final exams will happen in November, December, and January.
